HP Mini 5101 versus Sony Vaio P size (Mini 5101 now running on Windows 7!)

I’m sorry for the lack of updates this week – my schedule was nothing short of packed from Monday all the way till yesterday. Here’s a comparison picture of the HP Mini 5101 compared to the Sony Vaio P ‘lifestyle PC’. Both are premium netbooks though the latter has a different form factor compared to conventional netbooks. I’ll be posting more comparisons of the HP Mini 5101 compared to other netbooks and notebooks when I have more time.
Note: The Vaio P is sitting on the Mini 5101′s lap.

Oh, by the way, I managed to install Windows 7 Ultimate (32-bit) on the HP Mini 5101 on Tuesday. Installation was a breeze – it took 32 minutes flat from inserting the Windows 7 disc to formatting the hard disk to the Mini’s first ever “Seven” startup – with zero hiccups in-between. I’ll be posting a complete report and drivers checklist for Windows 7 installation on the HP Mini 5101 soon.
